I'm in the Midlands, can't mention the name of the hotel I need to challenge their 100% guarantee policy :( what a lovely idea a weekend date with a long haired footballer, gosh you know me too well already !

Had a wander around Tesco Coventry saturday night as I realised i hadn't packed any socks, got back to car looked in my weekend bag, NO KNICKERS either  back into Mr T's so I've been wearing very strange knickers all weekend. What sort of idiot forgets socks & knickers but packs 4 bras for a 2 day trip :rotfl:

Nice trip to Rangers Saturday afternoon in London spetd with a good friend, straight up to Cov & onto Brum yesterday to visit family & see Jedward in concert last night :j they were fab so funny & energetic best part for me was the song they had sung in their XFactor audition - Backstreet Boys I want it that way. In yer face Simon Cowell :)

May pop into an unamed Mr T later but I don't have time to read back I don't want alcohol.

Are you mystery shopper then? how cool is that? I always wanted to do it but never got to find a good company/website to express my interest :o

Today I'd look for dtd gammon 4.99/9.99, GR dinner sets dtd 25/50 and some new bargains if you happen to spot a scanner ;)

    have a lovely time! :)
  • I am James father/Judiths husband we have just discovered that James has posted some messages on this forum.......

Smellyhubby, have you closed your account already? I just tried to PM you. Thanks for coming on here to air your views. Just one thing, only partly related to all of this, is you might want to speak to Judith about changing the privacy settings on her facebook account, the day after the show I was sent a link to her page and I am not sure she would want all those personal details/photos being visible to everyone.

Panorama 8.30 tonight is about the supermarket "wars". Should be interesting.

Yes, saw this on the news this morning! should be interesting ;)

Investigation found that buying products in bulk can be MORE expensive

    Surprise, surprise!!:rotfl:

Supermarkets have been accused of misleading shoppers with confusing and untrue claims that could leave them open to prosecution.
Research into the ‘big four’ – Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons – pours scorn on their claims to be in the middle of a price war.

For at the same time as retailers have claimed to be slashing prices, their profits have ballooned and their stranglehold on grocery shopping has tightened.

i used to do it for tns, quite hard to make money from it (tescos shops were the most lucrative - i used to spend a day going round london assessing them - with a suitcase to put shopping in once out of sight as it would look a bit suspicious going in with tesco bags from other visits), but had some good hotel visits and free meals out. some reports take quite a lot of time to do though, so it costs you in your time.
  • Morning all, its taken me hours to catch up with all the weekends shenanigans...

Nothing glitch-wise to add yet, but I'm popping over to T's in my lunch hour. Will provide full and detailed report!

Hope everyone is well and full of the joys of the season :santa2:

Purdita was it yodel by any chance? I am having a huge argument with them as several times paid for 48 hour delivery and its been signed for but not delivered. Going to be biting the delivery guys head off tomorrow as latest thing should have been here friday and was signed for at 2.44 when I know it hasnt been delivered![/QUOTE]

No it was Hermes. Just emailed Next to say I want the delivery charge removed and a discount on the jacket (It was £70) for the incovenience, wasting a whole Saturday.....and the downright fibbing!!
Not holding my breath, but will escalate the complaint if I don't get anywhere with CS
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Hey everyone! How are you today?

Got DD off school today as she woke up with a high temperature and headache. Hope she's well for tomorrow as the whole school is off to watch a Panto.

Yesterday I managed to get 5 Comfort for 25p, so thank you for the OP for that bargain. Picked up 2 Neutradol Car Air fresheners for 50p each, Cashews at 42p, Spicy Peanuts at 1p, 11 Wine Gummies for £1 & Christmas Cake for £2. Thank you to the OPs who posted these bargains.

Got £16.91 in multibuy savings and used coupons to the value of over £18 (and none of them was a JTD).

Oh and I don't live in Chelsea, but I am a girl - and I am a mystery shopper. Mostly do restaurants, pubs, shops - but sometimes hotels too. Do a bit of merchandising and product recalls too. :D

Hope you all have a good day. x

when checking my online delivery receipt, i noticed that several of the items had gone up by large amounts (between 15-50p per item on items all under £2). rang customer service to complain (even tho they state you have to pay the price on the day) pointed out that i'd only ordered the items the night before, so surely such a price rise isn't justified, n they refunded the extra for me. (niggles slightly that i had to pay for the 'phone call tho!)
