Evening all! Sorry, been awol for the past few days, a busy start to Dec with work's do's, stocking up on xmas plonk (not from Mr T though) and out with family today.

Did have a really brief visit to Mr T yesterday - Sl0ugh Xtra.

No Bright Starts DTD, all Moon Dough relabelled, no Pino Noir but did find the Sacla Dallaglio Bolognese RTC 49p - 51p off my shopping with the £1 coupon and my first ever 1p - Doormans Spicy Peanuts on a clipstrip down the seasonal food ailse UPC ending 0187 - great find but made me feel a bit ripped off by the 24p ones before :rotfl: Word of warning though, BB date is mid-Dec so not a long shelf life left.

Oh, and got my JTD coupon refused on SS - had to go to CS who said 'we've stopped doing these' ...to which I replied 'well clearly not as I have one here' cue check with manager and my JTD given to me. Is it me or is that store seriously hard work?

I'm sorry but why did you stand for that? It mkakes me almost as mad as the actions of the SA!

She's paid to serve you, not to cast judgement on you by huffing and puffing.

If it were me, I'd have told her to stop scanning and asked the till supervisor to replace her with someone with a decent attitude.....honestly!

I wasn't going to cause a fuss because I'd got some of the cappuccino's, rocky bars and a free range chicken for DTD!!
That store is well known I think for miserable staff but on CS desk they always give DTD without being asked to and they have an instore scanner....so for a few quid lost in vouchers I'd rather not cause a fuss in the store IYKWIM.
I don't mind having a moan to head office though!! And TBH I'm more miffed that they sent me on a wild goose chase for my direct order.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I went through with 24 of each at 5 stores. got trouted at 2, H0f1eld and Br1sl1ngt0n, E4stv1lle, Cr1bbs and Y4te were brilliant, no problems. Said I was buying for a local under 9 football team (which i was). kids are absolutly overjoyed with it all. Plus club expenses haven't cost a penny:D loads of chocolate for the kids and the adult with cappachinos. Winner all round:beer:

*The picture you're seeing is'nt even a quarter of what i managed to get.:D:D:D
