Milliesmum wrote: »Morning all. Finally taking the plunge, after long-time lurkery (I did used to post, but a long time ago).
This may well be old news, but it looks like from tomorrow (21st) Sacla Pesto will be on offer at £1.59. The 2 vouchers (£1 and 50p) on the Voucher thread are valid until December, so it looks like it may be possible to grab a few jars for 9p (as long as Mr T is happy to take both vouchers against each jar).
Hope that helps a bit.
By the way, I love the banter, the advice, and the caring concern - hope you don't mind me joining in.

Went to T's earlier today, hoping that the staff may have put out some of the SELs early for the SACLA - nope. Bang goes that cunning plan.
Cunning plan #2: Spotted some smaller jars of SACLA Italia Tomato & Basil Bread topping (190g) on offer at £1.59 until 22nd November (never seen them there before - still better late than never I thought).
At the checkout was told by the SA that I could only use one of the SACLA vouchers against each jar (either the £1 or the 50p, not both). I asked the SA to check with the manager - horrible old Trout marches up and barks (repeatedly, right in my face) "no, no, no, only one per item, one per item, one per item....."
Never mind, even at 59p (instead of £1.99 full price) it's not a bad bargain.
Laughable thing is that she's the same manager that came and confirmed that both these vouchers could be used against EACH jar when the SACLA offer was on before.
Never mind, there's always tomorrow, and I shall deffo try out the Pesto on Tuesday when the offer should start.

Nice to see you too.
Kind of having a day away from MSE today so I can nurse the hang over and do some light tidying up/cleaning but I'll pop on every now and again.
Thanks for all the support guys.Me too, very light tidying, moving a piece of paper from one side of the desk to the other AND all this talk of chocolate I've nearly finished a bar of non glitched Fruit & Nut
Busy busy busy.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Well there has hardly been any decent grabbits lately so this will be a major grabbit fix for me! And luckily my OH is on afters this week, which means when I have to drop off and pick up my DD from nursery he can stand guard at the computer if theres something I'm interested in. Because other than taking my DD to and from nursery I am sitting at the comp all week! Poor DD lol.0 -
