Kind of having a day away from MSE today so I can nurse the hang over and do some light tidying up/cleaning but I'll pop on every now and again.
Me too, very light tidying, moving a piece of paper from one side of the desk to the other AND all this talk of chocolate I've nearly finished a bar of non glitched Fruit & Nut :whistle:0 -
Can I ask a question guys
At my course and it's been 8 days since I bought my 342 gift sets and was refused an overcharge
CS refused to send a giftcard as they couldn't prove I had bought them so she out the receipt in the price checker
I phoned a few times and was fobbed off with no it's not come through and then no one else was allowed to deal with it while this lady was on her days off
Now I ring and am told I have to go back to the store
I say no it's too far
She cuts ms off putting ms through to a supervisor
I get fed up and tell ring back telling them to ring me
They ring back and I'm in a lecture and can't take call
Answerphone message is I can go to a local store for dtd
I am just seriously peeved about the length of taken to sort something that could have been dealt with last week plus numerous expensive phone calls
Any suggestions
Shall I just accept and shut up?GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

will it start at midnight? I will not have a chance in the days Mon-Fri due to work so my only hope is late at night or early early mornings before work.
last year i think it was 9am until about 9pm and all the main items (xbox, wii, ps3, tv's etc) seemed to be at night 'peak time'0 -

I've just tried, but the only sign on the Candles is half price (only on certain flavours) - some are half price at £2 and some are half price at £3 (I think the £3 ones are ribbon ones ?) No sign of a B1G2F at all. I even looked along all the shelf ends where they sometimes have another display of offers. Nothing. Finally I looked in the homeware section where the candles live. Again nothing.

I PM'd a member to apologise for not removing a joke they found offensive as I had been in Glasgow all day and they replied telling me that they found all my jokes offensive, racist and so on and that they would be reporting me to MSE from now on.
I guess not everybody has a sense of humour.
Hi HC
I can only speak for myself, but I find most of your jokes hilarious. I don't have loads of time to read every post from everyone on here, so I skim read most of the time, which I think is the same for many others.
Can't this person that's reported you just do that - ie skim over your posts ?
It's good we don't all have the same views or sense of humour, otherwise life would be very dull.
Please don't stop posting your jokes, they bring a ray of sunshine into a gloomy wintery world.
