Joining this debate a bit late as only just watched programme as result of this thread.

Did anyone else notice her trip to Tesco's was on 16. 09.2011 where she used Sainsbury's vouchers to get her shopping down?
When did the ban on other supermarket coupons come in? it wouldnt surprise me if Tesco's (who would have been consulted as it was filmed in their store) were worried that loads more were going to start doing it as a result of the show and that's why its been banned :-(

Your mum was naive, most people know that any and every media twists things for ratings or sales figures. The show didnt make her look bad she did that on her own, she even admitted it was bad herself, then laughed, which hardly did her any favours.

Its not just here that comments were left, comments were left in the coupon thread and on several other forums all over the internet.

You mums face is now marked as someone who abuses coupons, she has only made it harder for herself, and I cant possibly imagine tesco wanting her to do this. In fact in the PM you said she was doing her best to save for uni fee's good on her but in doing so on a show like this she could have just marked the end of coupons, Tesco could easily put a maximum amount per transaction, making it harder for the rest of us.

In doing this show she MUT have known there would have been some negative feedback.

Im leaving this here, as im writing it in hospital awaiting an xray to see if I have a broken foot.

Well the more of us that complain it might do.

I've bumped into Nikkilala three times now all by accident. I will be elsewhere this weekend but no doubt if I pop into a Mr T's there she'll be stroking the duvet cover packets
