Hello everyone
Just back from T's with 3 free packs of chicken.
377g tesco british chicken diced breast priced at £3.77 on the pack but a white SEL of £1.88
There was a query over DTD as the label said Healthy Living and the pack didn't but it was honoured.
The girl on CS said it had been 'put in the wrong place' but I couldn't see any other type of diced chicken.
The packs are also stickered 2 for £6 and this didn't kick in either so a chance of DTD even if the SEL is correct.
So £3.77 x 2 = £7.54
over charge £1.54
DTD £3.08
Two packs for £4.46

just thought I'd share this with you - bought a Stig outfit last week in a remote T's. went through ss and it wouldn't scan so SA helpfully (!) put it through manually at £15:eek: Tried to take it back to my local Ts on Sunday. CS was lovely but because it had been put through as 'home wear' she wasn't sure how to refund it. asked supervisor for help who said I would have to take it back to the store where I bought it (4 hour round trip, I don't think so!) as it should never have been sold to me and he wouldn't give a refund as he would just have to waste it and there was no proof that the receipt related to the item :mad::mad: Told him how unhappy I was about it but he wouldn't budge. Tried to call HO but by this time they were shut. Called HO yesterday to complain and they said that store should have refunded the item, so they are sending me a giftcard for £20 :j
Better still, I was back in store today to pick up some of the new B1G2F offers and use my comfort coupons (thanks to the OP for letting us know that the comfort at £1.80 actually scans at £1). Managed to find the princes tomatoes and some kids stickers on a clip strip for 10p. The stickers scanned at £2  quick detour over to CS who confirmed that I was due DTD, so as I had bought 5 packs, I got £19 back :T:T:T
Finally when filling up with diesel in the garage I found the bob packs for 1p
How's that for karma :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Morning all,
Thanks to the OP the fudge worked for me. Had to stand my ground as CS said not in 3 for £2 offer according to SEL but I said had not even noticed that as it said 3 for £2 on box was then told must be in wrong box. So had to go back with them and definitely right box "Cornish Dairy Fudge". Be careful you pick the correct fudge as a 2nd store I visited had 2 types which both looked the same non cornish is 76p (around that) and also on 3 for £2 which I suspect would work ok. Just make sure you get cornish fudge from a cornish fudge box! HTHs
Was very tempted to go for some more Haddock rissotto it is very yummy had it for tea last night although I'm sure it tasted better because it was free. Have bought it whoopsied before for around 50p but last night's tasted a whole lot nicer.
I don't usually debate much about things on here and have not watched the C4 program yet. But this person has so much of my profile except being a mid wife. I ran a toddler group for many years when mine were LOs and I now run a stall which sells fairtrade stuff, I do not make a profit from it I volunteer my time to do it and the organisation I do it for pays for the goods and keeps the profit. But I assure you it is not me!Just wanted to say in my opinion and it is only my opinion that if the meal she organised was a one off then I personally would have donated the food at the relatively small cost of £15 but if it is something she organises on a regular basis then I can understand being reimbursed for the food. When I ran the toddler group no way could I have afforded to supply tea, coffee and biscuits for the group and I took the money back for what I had bought and I see it as not that different if it is something she is doing regularly.
Time is an expensive commodity these days unfortunately and I applaud anyone who gives of it freely. And that includes all you lovely lot on here who I know give to each other, relatives, charity shops, do hampers, give to neighbours etc, who was it who put something on all their neighbours doorsteps in the cul-de-sac they live in that one really made me smile. I think we all have something to give in our own way but we all have different ways of doing it.

I can't remember if the OP was on this thread or somewhere else. I've tried searching on here but no luck.
For anyone with kids or grandkids or nephews/nieces or even children you are a nanny to (Czer well done again ), please please please look at the folling link and create a video. All I had to do was upload 2 pics, make some selections then have a good cry at the end result. It really is fab.

Had a brill shop at T's yesterday - took advantage of the wine offer so all sorted for crimbo now. Comfort priced at £1.80 so didn't bother with that - completely st***ed up there as I never got any. Got a few more DM's at 34p and some wine gummies and veg crisps and a couple of trays. :T:T:T0
