I did find the fudge (thanks OP) which went through at 3 @ £1.36 but had (I presume wrongly) been stored in a '3 for £2' box so paid £4.08, dtd refund of £4.16 so 3 bags of fudge and 8p profit
CS refused to honour the 75p + bogof (as shown in the leaflet) for the Caramel Rocky so a quick call to HO and a card on its way to me - they are ringing the branch to tell them that a price in the brochure must be honoured.
Finally found the Cono Sur Pinot Noir. It has not been in my local (I've looked every day) but this morning 12 bottles appeared with no sel. By the time the wine discount was taken off I paid £19.70 for all 12 bottles so a terrific bargain at £1.64 a bottle! :rotfl:
The shelf of 4 packs of Princes chopped toms @ 92p a pack had been restocked since I cleared it the other day so I cleared it again.
All in all a very successful shopping trip - I think my day has peaked too soon...
PS When I see a glitch I have no hesitation in clearing the shelf if it is something I want. Never once have I heard of an mse-er who shops where I do so I would only be leaving bargains behind for lurkers.

aha I can finally be of use!
At our weddings we normally issue one red and one White per table of 8
There is normally plenty left over however the wine drinkers will happily take off other tables that drink less
And even then unless left on the tables from 2pm lunch til 2am finish with extra guests attending evening do we still end up with some left over
Hope this helps a little as it's still quite vague..(/(/

Let's see if you can buy 6 bottles of wine and make it home with them all :rotfl:
Enjoy your no pressure interview!!
:eek::eek::eek:
That would look hilarious! One bottle of wine in one hand, a bottle of Sprite in the other hand, pouring both into my mouth at the same time (with 5 more bottles of wine in the rucksack)! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

yea i think we should put one red and one white on the tableswill keep the que down at the bar but rose is getting more popular now, so do we put a bottle of that on the tables too?
Mum look on the tesco's website at the 3 for £12 offers and write down some of the wines you think we should get
What does everyone prefer? red/ white or rose? i prefer white0 -

cosmic-dust wrote: »You see I would have to disagree with this and I'm sorry but using Looby123 shopping habits last night. She went to 2 stores and in both stores she bought 20 bottles of comfort, using the comfort coupons.
So let's do the maths.
Comfort = £1.00 on offer at Tesco
20 x 75p off comfort
= £15.00
then using the £1 off £5 spend on household products in the price drop mag
= £4.00
So already that's £19.00 worth then multiply that in 2 stores £38 worth. That's just looking at the comfort use, she then went onto to use coupons for blue dragon etc etc.
No no no, you're not getting the point I'm trying to make. Looby123 (who you've decided to use as an example) has used coupons within the T&Cs. As posted earlier, there is no restriction on how many per transaction, how many per person/household only that it is one per correct product. Looby123 was doing nothing wrong whatsoever.
Now to my point, Henlans was using & reusing & reusing the DTD vouchers. That is coupon abuse. So lets do the maths:
Using 20 x £1 legit coupons that the manufacturer will reimburse Ts for
versus
Using 1 x £20 DTD voucher that had already been used as Ts will not be reimbursed for.
I know which user I'd be accusing of coupon abuse.
Oh and vieri1ukthere is a reason why mse put this thread in the bin (gone but not forgotton)
The reason it's in the bin is because the thread was deliberately created here. Just ask QPR10 and Locarr.0 -

It`s a good idea I must admit BUT how many guests are we catering for? I had 100 in mind,I also worked out a rough amount we will need. I think half the guests will be female,50 wine drinkers, about half a bottle each so that makes about 25 bottles. Not sure how much red and white,I think people drink more red?Does this seem about right don`t forget about all the other drinks aswell.:Daha I can finally be of use!

lightweights!
In Poland you have to have on average 50cl bottle of VODKA for each couple attending AND a few spares for the heavy drinkers! PLUS wine, beer and liquers and some more vodka for the "afterparty" bit next day!
Hmm... I guess that's why I rarely remember the weddings...

Toni, the Villa Garducci is a gorgeous sparkling rose that works out at 12 bottles for £33.03 with the glitch instead of £59.88. I got it on the last glitch and it's really nice, just got 12 bottles last night;)And the bottles are really nice with baby pink foil lids:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
tempted_by_a_bargain wrote: »?? Possible DTD paid 4p to take 3 bags of fudge
Hi I got my Dad some Tesco cornish Fudge there was a big display in the sweet isle of sweets 3 for £2. These were £1.38 a packet & were in a box that said 3 for £2 although shelf edge didn't say they were on the offer the box did if you get what I mean. CS gave me DTD of £4.28 without me asking & even explained the policy to me. I visited another store & saw that they were in the same box so think it will be all stores (these were both extras) didn't get any from 2nd store as its my local.
I so hope some one else can get this deal it will make my day.
This is the original post about the fudge. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0
