I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • So Tesco are telling me that Asda do not stock the tins of celebrations.......porkie

Thats what they tried with me earlier, they also said that because the price had droped today thats the price they would be comparing. I was not having that I bought them yesterday and it clearly said on the receipt online they were comparing them at £10. They also tried the different size tin, but both clearly state they are 855g. They tried to say that sometimes it just happens because there is a difference between the products. I asked them 4 times to tell me what the difference was as I could not see one. Eventually she agreed with me and said I could have £5 which was the difference. Then I told her I had bought 5 :D (which I had) and she agreed to send a card worth £25. I am happy as I would only have got £20 JTD. She did say that she was only allowed to go up to £25 which was interesting so any time we have a problem we should hold out for £25. Unless of course the difference is more than that!
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

Yes thats correct , Just the difference back if its cheaper in Asda .

Thanks, it was a previous post that confused me -

No min/max spend in Tesco. You can just take your two boxes of chocs to the till on their own and you will get a voucher back for £20. Remember it is capped at £20 so don't buy anything else cheaper or dearer as it will affect your voucher value.

When you do it online do Tesco just compare what they feel like because I've done it a few times and there are so many items that Asda would obviously sell come up as N/A??

There are offers instore saying "Buy 2 wines for £10" or "3 wines for £12" (dependent on the wine but various white/red/rose/cava). If you buy 6 wines for £24 (3 wines for £12 x 2) an extra discount of 25% off kicks in. The 25% off is only on until Sunday i think. But you MUST buy in multiples of 6 for the 25% discount to work.

I got 18 bottles of wine for just over £25 this afternoon :j

Not v happy, just got result of JTD from my haul of celebrations and it has not compared them at Asda, it says N/A. I know I want to have my cake and eat it (did not get the carrot cake!) Anyone got any advice or do I put it down to experience and the game we play!!
    thanks

I haven't looked at mine yet, possibily because someone mentioned this morning/last night the weight in store is slightly different to the leaflet maybe Asda has a slightly different size although I have to say that pricecheck thing seriously pi$$ es me off the way it doesn't compare everything:mad:
