Also got DM for 34p and 4 packs of free caramel rocky bars thanks to DTD by using the Price drop mag.

Managed to find the mags with the vouchers in, then had DS running back and forth from the scanner with things.

Got 5 DM @34p, finally found the party poppers and someone had pushed most of the ends in  managed to salvage 5 of them undamaged @ 11p each, found the cheeky monkey car signs got 2 @1p each (loads left) found one lonely pack of the dormans caramel cashews @41p, Nutradol car air fresheners @50p SEL £2 got 4 of them, got 11 of the wine gummies for £1 (must go back for more as DS has just had some and says they are as good as the wine gums he loves) and lastly found the wine :j SEL £5.99 scanning at £2.19 got the last 8 on the shelf £16.64 (88p discount) great price of £2.08 a bottle, hope it tastes ok (I don't drink) will do for OH and DS has a couple of teachers at his new high school that go above and beyond to help him (he has ADHD and Aspergers), treated DS to a bar each of the Tesco 85% cocoa ivory coast & ecuador plain choc and Tesco 74% cocoa ivory coast plain choc at 53p each 100grm bar for all his running back and forth to the scanners, he's happy and want's to know when we can go again :rotfl:

Many Thanks to all who post and go to the trouble of putting pics up :T

Hope you all manage to grab some bargains :)

Thanks I may just try this ...

At my local store last night they had some of the items going thru at B1G1F ... but the pancakes weren't. The excuse was that some offers start on diff dates but they would refund the error and would honor the B1G1F deal even though they weren't obliged to (no DTD).

I was in a rush and am full of a cold so I gave in ... I'm such a whimp!

Just phoned CS and they're "investigating it" cos I was also charged 89p for the Lemon and Raisin Pancakes instead of 80p.

They said they've had loads of problems esp with the "caramel biscuits" not sure which ones these are cos CS kept the booklet last night.

  • Have any of the south west Scotland gang ventured to CD? Any good? Any scanners? May have to go over that way with work later in the week and it would be rude not to call on Mr T on my way past :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Could I ask please?
If a receipt was wombled & put through Price Checker & comes back with voucher, do you have to show your Club Card as proof it's yours?

Wondering if anyone can help out? i posted this on the i wanna buy it thread but not got much response xxx

My daughter has asked for a BMX for her xmas i have had a look around but i have came across a few things i'm not too sure off , firstly i have notice different brake types U , V and caliper, then there is 3 piece cranks and then the frames are made from different materials Hi-ten , steel and cro-mo , realistically what is the best type of bmx to go for a 1st time bmx ? and will the more expensive bikes be beneficial to start with or is it safe enough to start her off on the lower scale without her destroying it? she is 11 but she is almost 5ft , any info/input appreciated , oh and i think she will want to mainly try tricks small jumps etc to begin with

Had a bmx when was kids, was great fun, so if your buying for dd, concentrate on the helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves, once you have protection sorted then take whats left of budget and buy best bike for money, ignore all widgets, they are just things to break or go wrong, more solid frame and better brakes most important but the protection is where i'd spend most money, its a stunt bike and at some point she will fall off.

Frequent confesses to showing off in front of a young lady named Helen, she was walking by, I called over to her, and tried a front wheel stunt, didn't go as planned, ended up going over front handle bars and landed on backside, thankfully only pride damaged.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

They are Rocky's caramel biscuits. Price drop mag states they are 75p (BOGOF) but SEL and scanned at £1.59. Therefore DTD back from CS.:j

No scanners sorry in CD. Its quite a small one, no clothing except one end facing the tills at the far end of the store with some underwear etc on it. There were some 4p pj's there until Blondenurse and I visited last month ;).

We also got some of the cheap pukka pads, the SEL was at the lower price too so makes them easy to spot.
