    I DO NOT SECOND THIS.

whilst it is easy to add more water to the boiler through the filler, what you should be asking is :

WHY DID IT LOSE PRESSURE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

STOP GUESSING WITH BOILER AND GET IT CHECKED BY A FULLY QUALIFIED ENGINEER.

    NO APOLOGY FOR SHOUTING.

Some boilers just lose pressure, its the way it is. Ours has no leaks but regularly needs a quick turn of the tap.

Its what the dial and tap are there for. ;)

I have been stalking errr following this thread for a few weeks now since a bit of Googling for money saving tips led me to MSE – OH may be facing redundancy at the end of the week so am thinking ahead! Anyway I have been waiting to find something that maybe of interest to others before I joined.
First of all many thanks to you guys as I managed to get my £55 shop down to £37 today after offers; a couple of vouchers and two DTD, that doesn’t even include the saving of the 10 bars of 34p DM that managed to find their way into my trolley.
I was in the Ip*&$ch extra store and managed to get DTD due to OOD SELs: first was on kids’ Goodness range of strawberry and vanilla fromage frais mouse the second was for those Old El Paso Mexican kits. Both should have been 342 but the offer obviously didn’t kick in and got DTD with no prompting at all from a lovely SA on CS.
The mouse SEL was up last week too so that’s two week’s in a row I’ve got DTD for that product. Free dinner for us tonight then! And of course wine gums and DM for a snack later.

Hope that's of help to someone.

  • Same boiler as us, do you have a flashing red light on the front. If so press it for 10ish seconds.

Also when ours went we had to re-light the pilot. We downloaded the manual but this wasn't covered our landlord talked us through it.

Sunshinestar, if you don't know what your doing then please get someone who does to check it over for you, noticed you mentioned you can't afford engineer, not sure where government stands on this but if you get benifet maybe go down that road.

Probably the landlords responsibilty...give him a ring sunshine:)
