Friend of martin?: Secret Handshake, Option 3?
Has to be that one as we can see what is on the bottom shelves while we are there. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Just got my pricecheck back from yesterday. One of the items inclued tesco iced fruit cake bar 454g which was £2.25 in T and £1.89 in A. However I didn't notice how much I had paid until now but the SEL was £1.50 so I could have got it for 75p after DTD, I was too busy focussing on the £15 I had been charged for the turkey to notice!0

And in the lead, the best suggestion yet for a Secret Handshake is...
Drum roll please......:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
Grocery Spend Weekly Challenge (Sat-Fri):£30.50/£400 -
Afternoon all, another T free day for me, little girl is not well so cuddled up on the sofa watching winne the pooh movie
Hope they have some of the 11 for £1 sweeties left when I got as OH goes through loads on his team at work!
Hope everyone else is ok and finding what they are looking for
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Hi Debs. I have never spotted a scanner in that store but I'm probably a bit late to let you know.
Afternoon everyone,
Was confined to bed after my last post yesterday, thanks for the kind words jumblejack and nikki, DD3 and my poor mum had to fend for themselves. I had to get mum to ring me once she was tucked up safely in bed as she is so unsteady on her feet I was worried she might fall, and had to go around early this morning to do everything else. I felt so guilty but I was in so much pain I could not move, It had subsided by early hours (though feel like a bit of a fight has gone on in my insides!) so was up at 4am to clear the bomb site downstairs before heading off to my mums.
Have I missed anything today? I was running a stall at the local Christmas fayre today so been bit tied up. Gave half a dozen Toy Story bags to the old lady that sells Christmas/Birthday cards and wrapping paper she was very pleased.
Good to see Happy is back.
Has anyone got the wine gums/lollies today for £1 and anyone know of any left in any of my locals.
Not too late at all, Br**ks0me is on my maybe list for tomorrow. Although I don't think there is much to look out for at the mo anyway. I MUST not buy DM or sweeties.
Hope you are feeling better and sitting with your feet up this afternoon, sounds like you need someone to round around after you for a change.0 -
Wooo just popped in to grab some milk and found 5 hoots deicer on the top shelf. A little jump got me one and a lovely sa got me another 4 :j
lol....when I got the andrex for 4for £3.50 I didnt want to ask for help in case the SA noticed the SEL...so I took the 4 boxes of nappies out of my trolley and used them as steps to reach the packs at the back of the shelf...got 24 packs though so was happy....although felt a bit of a fool as passers by obviously thought I was crazy!!!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Right I'm off on a DM hunt thanks to wool, and will try and get chance to cosy on the sofa tonight with one if I find them.
Not sure if will be in any fit state to be on here later after being up early hours so behave yourselves later. I might even open a bottle of Turners Road while watching X factor.
Just realised I missed I'm a celeb last night. :eek:0 -

Thanks debs, I'm always forgetting my purse there because they don't have a scanner.0 -
The OP did say it would be removed if anyone raised an objection, could you not have just posted on here that you didn't agree rather than report it?
it owuld have been better if yo uhad followed your own advice and skipped over it as between me and poster.:)
I just skip over the posts that I'm not interested in (these are also the ones I don't thank) but I wouldn't think of reporting anyone before I just had a quiet word via PM or posted a "I don't think this should be here" message on the forum.:(
i didn;t want this to turn into a big debate as the other issues have, but i put it on here so the guy/gal would know who it was as i did not want to hide as said they are a busy contributor it was just that topic - please leave there.
i skip over lots of stuff that are off topic but this was a particular item contrary to what post is about. so i do not mean any hard feelings to it please do not make a big deal about it as mentioned gambling can affect alot and is a serious issue that is why arcades/bookies are for 18+ i do not want to start a big debate on this for personal reasons and fhave to justify.0 -

:T:TLove the nappies steps, I usually grab the tallest man or failing that go on a hunt for the round stool things they use;) But I did resort to "batting" the kitchen roll down the other day with a roll of tin foil:oBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
