    Hi all

I'm looking for some information and I think there may be some people on here that can help :D

A while back during the electrical glitch there were lumie clocks and I wondered if anyone had a picture and knew how much they were going for?

A bit random I know but I'm still kind of hoping to come across one although I think that boat may already be under sale and called the Titanic :D

hiya...I never found the actual Lumie lights...but I did get 2 of these...Philips version of the lumie light...Ts SEL was £60...reduced to £30...scanned at £5 each!

I found the turkey tonight, 10 in the fridge, stickered at £7.50. Sadly that is what it scanned at. Found the sausages, they were £2 SEL and scanned at £2.

Found the Tesco chocolates, no SEL though so no chance of jtd. No dairy milk either.

Tried to use the £1 coupon off the celebrations, that didn't work.

Got home to find my local paper delivered with the Tesco mag with the £5 off £40 coupon in - which I had totally forgotten about.

Just going to console myself with another chocolate orange.

I admit I did "quite" well with the electrical glitch but it was'nt half hard work;) It was nearly as bad as the original old DTD, sandwiches and coffee in my car in between T's, midnight trips when their was a rumour that there were shavers in certain T's!!
I have used or gifted everything I managed to get and can't wait to give out pressies at xmas. In fact today I was in superdrug and they had epilators and hairdryers and I couldnt believe the prices, anything over £3 is expensive now ;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:MSE is making me so tight & careful with money :):) and I love it!!!!

Oh you're so right! Everytime there is a sale or a good offer somewhere else I'm still thinking it's expensive and I'm sure mr T will offer it to me for much less... :o
  • and i thought it was just me- anything over £1 and i feel like i'm being ripped off

Even a boot sale seems expensive now, and as for the charity shops, well forget it!:rotfl:

OH has disappeared into the garage with 44 packets of wine gums, and has hidden them all in his drawer out there:rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

I would have loved to have discovered that thread back then, OH thinks I am crazy now when I dash out all he hears are the words, "T's & back soon" and the door slam. I admire you all as I know it can be hard work hunting down those bargains! Bet you had some right adrenalin buzzes going through check outs :D

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Haha!! Beki that made me laugh. Last week it was nearly midnight and I saw a possible glitch on here (£1 DVD player) so ran into the hubby said "back soon" and shot out the door. When I got back he'd posted on facebook "guess the wife's found another bargain....God knows when she'll be home". I think he's getting used to it and he certainly doesn't complain at all the pennies I'm saving!! All thanks to you fab people :):)

Does that mean you missed the original DTD days too
I still miss those days, bet there are a few of us with a misty eyed look and some heavy sighs at the memories :(
