I got a pm today from the Forum peeps saying in uncertain terms I am not allowed to ask for codes as its a breech of something or other to gain from the board. I will put it on here later, :( I only wanted a couple of cinema tickets because i can't afford to go

Then we will OFFER the codes, and you can just accept them. That should overcome that obstacle. :)

I seriously don't get HUKD sometimes.

Last time...stuffed lamb's heart on offer @ £1 got +309 degrees of heat.

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/stuffed-lambs-heart-tender-x2-1-00-normally-1-50-tesco-1037458

And now....the same item @ 75p has minus 2 degrees of heat.

    Weird bunch those HUKDers. :rotfl:

(Yes I know...I'm a member on there too :rotfl:).

    14° 400g Butter Beans / Red Kidney Beans - 39p @ TESCO * Misprice *
    1

Not on offer, but the 400g tins are 39p, yet the 210g tins are 45p. Prices are both in-store and on-line. I can't personally take the credit as I over heard a lady in the Stow-on-the-Wold branch querying the manager over it, to which he confirmed that head office quite regularly get the prices the wrong way round!

As a side chat, often the KTC brand butter beans etc found in the World Food section are cheaper than those in the beans / tinned toms etc aisle (Mr A sometimes has some really decent deals on like 20p a tin for Diwali etc if you have one near you).

JJ - great to see you back :j
Lovecrafting - all I can say is  followed by  (on your behalf) followed by :eek: and

No Mr T for me today, in fact I have temp misplaced my shopping mojo :( I even forgot about the Andrea - though I do have 48+ rolls of Cushelle atm from the Lidl deal (£6.99 for 24, offer ends tonight though)

Talking of customer service, I have had a variety of experiences with ringing or e-mailling which seem to go against when I have read on here.

Last week I asked for a copy invoice as I had bought some gifts for different people and thought that it would be better to give them an invoice incase they wanted to change/refund. I asked 2 days after the transaction. When they phoned me back was told they do not issue duplicate invoices.

At the weekend I asked in store for a rain check voucher for the selection boxes. i got one for Nestle but she could not give me one for the Cadbury stockings as not on the computer. I e-mailled a query to head office. When they rang me they said that Tescos no longer issue rain check vouchers. When I said yes they do I got one on a different offer was fobbed off really. Managers discretion, only if they think stock will be replenished within the timeframe of the offer...

I have an item to return which I got DTD on. Not sure if they will accept it and what I would get back or do I just say lost receipt can I exchange it. Was going to ring CS again but think you guys know Tesco's policy better than their own staff!!!

We need to make a list of these things- rain check vouchers, DTD & refunds on DTD items etc & get Tesco to put the policies on the website for all to see then there can be no argument or luck of the draw who you get on the phone at HO. Does anyone know if there is some sort of store manual that C.S. assistants should refer to ?

A little stop at Tesco this morning - without knowing about the loo roll! Drat

Did get a 20p Camera Case but what do I need a camera case for? Pity the sides have a gap as it would have been fine for coins.

I got a 20p camera case yesterday, I needed one, can't keep carrying it around in bubblewrap
