Oooh so excited.
Tootled off to mr t this morning. What looked like a disguarded receipt in a trolley was a £7 off £50 spend. Whooo.
Headed straight for toilet paper. Sels said 2 for £3.50 but just as i was heading off, a lovely little lady popped a 4 for £3.50 label infront of the pebble coloured ones! Whoo again. Filled my trolley with 12 packs.
Off to chocolates. Ood sels on big box of luxury chocs, got 3 to pass time when wrapping up prezzies!
Ood half price sel on the crackers, jacobs big box, not tin. Few other bits in trolley.
Biscuits with ood sel all seemed toscan at lower price.

Paid then off to cs who nearly had a dickie fit. She came back from checking and the sels on all andrex had been removed. Arrggg.

She called for dept manager who denied all knowledge of such an offer of course. Said sorry i must have read it wrong. So i pulled out my phone and showed them the sel. They didnt know what to do with themselves so i said ill call ho and sort it myself. Ho surprisingly told them to honour it with dtd as it was a system error.

As i was waiting for my money to be refunded, a chav couple behind me were commenting on the amount of paper in my trolley. Her male other half was holding some biscuits. Anyway i couldnt help myself so turned around and smiled sweetly before announing that the !!!!!! in our house are very clean where as she obviously fills hers with biscuits!

Off i trott!

just found a Technika 2.4 GHz Wireless Deskset (Keyboard and Optical Mouse) was £19.97 save £5 so should be £14.97 but scanning at £24.97 possible DTD of £20 if anyones interested.

Not exciting, but found Tesco refill pad, 150 pages for 42p BC ends 6113. Handy for those Tesco shopping lists!

Talking of customer service, I have had a variety of experiences with ringing or e-mailling which seem to go against when I have read on here.

Last week I asked for a copy invoice as I had bought some gifts for different people and thought that it would be better to give them an invoice incase they wanted to change/refund. I asked 2 days after the transaction. When they phoned me back was told they do not issue duplicate invoices.

At the weekend I asked in store for a rain check voucher for the selection boxes. i got one for Nestle but she could not give me one for the Cadbury stockings as not on the computer. I e-mailled a query to head office. When they rang me they said that Tescos no longer issue rain check vouchers. When I said yes they do I got one on a different offer was fobbed off really. Managers discretion, only if they think stock will be replenished within the timeframe of the offer...

I have an item to return which I got DTD on. Not sure if they will accept it and what I would get back or do I just say lost receipt can I exchange it. Was going to ring CS again but think you guys know Tesco's policy better than their own staff!!!

TP still had 2 for £3.50 SEL with end date of 22/11.

Both stores had crisps 4 for £4.50.

And guessing carrot cake at FB scanning at £4 as label said £3.xx yesterday when they were scanning £1. :(

Oh, yes me but see my post above, the sel was removed before i got to cs so someone was there before both of us!

Just going to borrow this space to say to everyone who has problems at C.S. with any DTD or returns, try to be a bit more confident, if you are right & know you are right and you are playing within the guidelines set by Tesco, stand up for yourselves, if these C.S. can smell an air of uncertainty about you thats when I think they attack. Hi, i have to agree with you .i have only got DTD a couple of times at my local tescos but on the first couple of times i have had to stand my ground even getting the manager involved etc.But when i got my last DTD [ LYNX GIFT SETS]she just handed me the DTD and didnt say a word.
