What is the difference between a slow cooker and a crock pot?

    Sounds like a riddle

I always make them like my mum did - very MSE! Two thirds sausagemeat to one third sage and onion stuffing, mix together then make as normal. Usually make a couple of hundred at a time, freeze uncooked and cook as required. Family love them - I hate sausages! Not just any sausage rolls, these are MKS' sausage rolls!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

How funny, that is how I make my stuffing, two thirds sausagemeat and one third stuffing, because that's how my mum used to make it. That is unless I'm making it from scratch and going the whole hog with breabdcrumbs which isnt very often;)

    :hello:

glad to see nikkilala back :j love the pics! and I want more! :D

I had a great day bargain hunting today and even bf was useful!

Went to the local Metro first on my own and what do I see at the end of the store? A huge pile of all sorts of selection boxes with the b1g2f offer plastered all over it! :D:D:D Grabbed 6 galaxys and 6 cadbury "socks" :p and went to pay, can you imagine they charged me 42.00GBP! 10 mins later I had 56.00GBP on the way back into my bank account :D :j and 12 selection boxes in the car waiting to be taken home for xmas! Then I went to Ost****y to see what they can give me but apart from 3x34p dairy milk, 20p camera case(2 left when I left) and a nice fisher's price animal something toy for 1.50GBP(the girl who checked the price for me asked if there were more, went to check and didn't find any :o) I've found the stig dressing up sets but not on file :( they offered to sel it to me for 4gbp but I declined

Came home to get bf and we went to BB(haven't been there for ages), I gave him two brightstars items to return(to avoid CS in case of a dtd) and he did well :T However before entering the store he asked if he has to say the magic words, I asked what words, and he said "dtd"?:eek::eek: So I had to explain it all over again...
Anyway doing the shopping I somehow wandered to the baby aisle and what do I see there? stickered tummy turtle mats! :D (bf just returned one to them LOL) So I grabbed two :p (a nice golden one as well!:D).
The last one was new Y but couldn't find any bargains, just got stuff I needed anyway...

Looked for HP dvd sets but none anywhere and no 8p baloons either :(

Oh well it was a brilliant day! :j

I hope I will do as brilliantly tomorrow on the trial day! :)

    Good luck tomorrow Czerchy:T:T:T
Oh yeah, never managed to find one in the electrical sale so finally gave in and picked up one of these today ...

Only it was in black. 3.3l, Tesco Slow Cooker for £9. Not a CrockPot, but I couldn't see much difference between the two except for £26! Looking forward to a nice, easy pork stew with cider tomorrow.

This is the one I picked up in the electrical sale and it's brilliant, I think they were something ridiculous like £3 or £4 each, but £9 is still a bargain;)

  • Evening all :D

Thought I was onto a winner tonight, went looking for the Panasonic DVD payer that was reported for £10 and there it was sat on the shelf, correct barcode and everything. Thought I'd check it on the scanner just in case and it came up at £29.97...Gutted I was :( So I thought I'd cheer myself up with some dairy milk and you guessed it there was just a big empty shelf, again! So I went in a huff and went to get my shopping, then I remembered the Plenty, surely I thought there will be some of that...I'll let you work out how that went! ;) :rotfl:

Not best pleased, so didn't even bother trying to look for anything else! I did notice some of this Moon Dough stuff that I've seen mentioned in many posts, but never actually paid any attention to as I didn't know what it was! which one is it that was going cheap please? Thanks in advance :D

    xx

Hi, it was risca I'm almost certain it was the actual action man. Might get to go in quick tomorrow and double check.
  • Thanks to CYDNIE20 for this off the other T's board. I saw these last week in T's and never bothered to scan them as was in a rush but they looked brilliant, I just wasnt prepared to pay £3.50 for them:

ILLOOM LIGHT UP BALLOONS, tesco have 2 types of 5 Illoom mixed LED balloons, the ones that are scanning at 8p have pink, white, orange, yellow and green balloons in the pack and also has a round sticker bottom right of the packet saying MIXED on it, the SEL was £3.50 but scanned at 8p, on the back of the packet the bar code is 1014701005. I scanned all of the other light up balloons in the range and found that only the red and white star balloons was going through at £1.75 sel was £3.50. happy hunting.
