morning everyone!

hoping for a good day... I'm up much too early but we're having the floors done in out flat today and I need to escape to avoid the mess... I'm going to have a little look in my local Metro and then venture further away to one or two Extras to see what I can find... I need tons of normal shopping anyway and just found two golden receipts too (it's the brightstars stuff I initially was going to keep but I actually can't turn down any cash atm...)

when i sent a box last year to my good friend josh (rest in peace) (he is us army so im not sure ift he rules on food are different) i sent some tablet (scotch tablet not medication) a little usb thingy with some pictures on it it had things like, my kids on the beach with a little sign saying thinking of you, a photograph of newspapers relating to the poppy appeal (ok not relivent to him but he shared some with the uk boys) bits and bobs like that, I also sent a christmas card from us, (plus 2 spare ones for the boys who dont get one) some tissues some socks a hat and some drawings from the kids.

everything i wanted to send was on the naughty list so i couldnt send it, it was a complete nightmare some of the stuff they wasnt allowed.

after reading back through the posts last night its made me quite sad this morning, ive lurked on this thread for a while now and its the nice posts from nikilala and celebrate and everyone else that gave me the courage to join in the chat wishing you all the best celebrate and i really hope you pop on and say hi from time to time and let us know how its going

Can't see anything exciting on amazon either. All the prices still seem high but maybe thats because we're used to T's glitches now:rotfl:
