This is probably the wrong forum, but I fancied buying a tux for my 1 year old as a christmas present. I've found £85 for the jacket, trousers and shirt bow tie.
Anyone know if I can find £40/£50 accessible in the UK?
regards,

Go on to the sewdirect.com website and find patterns - you(or a kind friend) can make them for a fraction of the price.
If stuck, try sewingpatterns.com - they are in the US but so cheap you can pay the postage and still be in pocket.
Seriously, even if you are an inexperienced sewer, it is not difficult to follow the instructions if you can borrow a machine.0 -
yuck, yuck, yuck....
Why put a toddler in a dinner jacket?!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

My sentiments too. A bit chavtastic for my taste but each to their own.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

A christmas present for yourself I presume as he won't be interested in it at all.0 -

Here for £16.99 +P&P:
http://www.childrenswear.co.uk/show_productx.asp?item=176&orig=cat&vmode=full&c1=65&c2=85&m1=&m2=p
I have ordered a few items from this site and can highly recommend them. Make sure you check the sizes as they come up quite big, the 6 month old one for £12.99 might be big enough.0
