On that advice I think I will hang on for an M&S one as I work for them and I know all the cashmere will be in the sale. Thanks!
Is it not selling then? What about the various mens Heritage knitwear? Will it?
  • I disagree with adelight because the deal allows you to effectively buy an item for £11.25 (technically £10 as you can get £1.25 back through topcashback) which is great value for a top/cardigan regardless of being cashmere, mine is incredibly soft, much softer than the acrylic ones. I can't really judge the quality of the jumpers as I bought cardigans but don't be put off by a few bad reviews. Tesco's cashmere has more positive reviews than the M&S ones which bobble very easily and cost almost five times more. I would suggest to have a look at them instore and see them in person to see how lovely they are for yourself.

sorry to sound duh but i was in tesco admiring them before but the sineage had them as £50.

i took the creme round neck cashmere jumper to the self-service till and it scanned thru at £35?

is there a code i need - as i'd love to treat myself tomorrow.
  • I have cashmere from Tesco, Asda, TK Maxx. John Lewis. i love it, so soft and never scratchy, after the first hand washes i just put them in the washer in a net bag on 30 programme. The only th:)ing to watch out for is them pesky moths

Re. M&S cashmere, I bought one 4 years ago and it was great. On the strength of that experience, I bought my husband a cashmere sweater last year. it had bobbled horribly after only a couple of wears and he is Mr Careful with his clothes.

On looking at the labels, his was made in China, mine was made elsewhere (can't remember now without checking the garment) and the difference in the quality of the yarn was noticeable. We took his back and had our money refunded. I wouldn't buy any Chinese cashmere now.
  • Just wanted to warn others about this offer.!
I ordered online 2 cashmere jumpers at £25 each and cos it stated free p&p if you spend over £50 I added an acrylic jumper at £5 . So I naturally assumed that I would have £3.95 taken off my bill of £55.
BUT Tesco have added V.A.T totally over £9.!!
Therefore my total spend is now £55, I am not happy....

Beenie - I too had the Cashmere from M & S last year - and had to return. The ones fro Mr T are too thin - compared to John Lewis. John Lewis ones last for ages - if washed correctly.

I bought three from Mr T at £25 each - and then too them back once the OH tried one on.!!

Think I'm not understanding you laird, 2x £25 cashmere tops + 1x £5 acrylic top = £55? Where is the postage coming in? That doesn't include a postage charge so they wont deduct a postage charge that they didn't charge you.

You have to pay VAT in this country, but that is reflected by the tagged price.

You should have used a cashback site and the 15% discount code on the codes board to reduce the price further.
