Also what is the quality like - I've never had any cashmere - is it warm?

Cashmere is absolutely fantastic. I always get a couple of sweaters most years, I also have a cashmere scarf which is great.

It is ultimate luxury and you will not get cold.

I bought the cashmere roll neck a couple of weeks ago.
Immediately had to question if it was in fact Cashmere.
Feels a bit acrylic like, not at all like the M & S ones.
Ok, for £12.50 in vouchers and everyday wear.
Does not look anything special. If you can afford m & s ones
    will last far longer.
    How much ?????????!!!

It's funny you should mention this. I have cashemres from both Tesco & M&S and don't really notice any difference. However, I have an acrylic one from Benneton which feels softer/more luxurious than either of the cashmere ones!

I was going to say my cashmere from tesco is the same softness as M&S, probably as they are both pure cashmere. Maybe you picked up the wrong rollneck as they have identical ones in cashmere and I assume the other is an acrylic mix? I would take it back and swap it for another one as yours may have been stored wrongly or bashed about the warehouse.

  • Just had email from Tesco cancelling part of my order as item is now out of stock ! Funny that when I placed order they had stock in every size ??? Also paid in full with clubcard vouchers does this mean I will lose out ?

This happened to me too but they put the full value back on my account ie I doubled up £10 worth of vouchers so they put £20 in my account. HTH
  • Thanks for this - a great deal :j Used the 15% code (though I think the £10 off when you spend over £50 is probably better on bigger purchases. I want to collect in store but can't figure out how to do it - has anyone done it before? I am on a page with a map on it but it doesn't seem to do anything when I write in which store I want to collect from:(

I bought one for £25 when there was the £20 off code a few weeks ago. I got a £6 acrylic jumper at the same time and it's much softer than the cashmere which feels very cheap, almost like it's a really thin knit using really fluffed up fibres to bulk it up. I have to wear a long sleeve top underneath or it's too itchy, but it is warmer than an acrylic/blend equivalent.
If you can afford to then save your money and get one from m&s(they're ok) or a really luxurious one from tk maxx. The RRPs there are ~£500 but selling ~£100 and they are so unbelievably soft and such high quality.

On that advice I think I will hang on for an M&S one as I work for them and I know all the cashmere will be in the sale. Thanks!
