in Credit cards
First thing, due to moving out and a lot of travelling from my new job I'm going to get a credit card. I don't envisage spending a lot on it, so I was going to get a cashback style one, I've heard good stuff about the Morgan Stanley Platinum card.
I'm changing address in a week, could this be a problem with my application?
Secondly, as a first time application for a card, would it be a problem being successful? Cheers. Mike.

If you are going to go travelling it may be better getting a Commission free credit card(Nationwide, Post office) that is good for purchases abroad. It depends on how much you are going to spend out there as to whether a cashback one is of more benefit.
Apply before you change address, if you apply for one just after you move, it may throw up the problem of you not appearing on the electoral roll.
It is not possible for anyone to tell you if you will be sucessful or not, if you haven't applied for credit in the last 3-6 months, it will strengthen your position.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
How does a commision free one work? I don't plan on using it much.0

if its your first CC i would doubt that you will get a cashback card unless your credit record shows other credit being handled well.
i would try your own bank for your first card.
most CC charge about 2-3% if you use in abroad while a commission free card (e.g Nationwide) dont.0
