MP3s onto Motorola V220

Options
Daughter has this phone and she has some cut-down MP3s which can be transferred onto phone as ringtones. The phone can be connected to PC using a USB cable but the computer then asked for disks.

Do I need specific software to transfer the files. If so where can I get it. If not how do you do it?

Cheers

I used to have a v220 and have transferred mp3 on to it but I used another guide which I can't find now but looking at the link above, it was a very similar procedure. I did not have my phone for long as it managed to get itself 'liquid damaged' within 2 or 3 weeks of purchase and the manufacturers refused to repair it. The phone never came in to contact with any kind of liquid and as a result I have vowed never to get a motorola phone again.

The V220 only has 1mb memory I think - only enough for 2 or 3 clips. I use a piece of software called P2KMan, it's good for getting into the guts of the phone but is a little bit techie
