Hi All,
It's been a while since I posted in here but here goes....
Back in 2009 I signned up online for the free 30 day credit report like many others, cancelled this service after 30 days & that was it as I thought
I admit I dont read my bank statements very often then in 2010 I notice that Creditexpert are taking £6.99 per month out my account an email was sent by myself on the 1st of June 2010 followed up by a phone call debits stop !!
Just had a look at my bak statements today & once again ive been charged again for a service that I did not want & cancelled last year  Ive made a call to there call center this morning see below
I spoke to Rob very nice & helpfull although I did not get the answers I wanted
He agrees that an email was sent last year although no record of a phone call, he states that I have to phone them to cancel not email ? and the only way to prove that I called & cancelled is dig through my phone records as they have no record of it even tho I did call them, another thing I find funny I request a copy of the original contract which was done online mmm they dont have that I would have thought this was a legal doc ! so in other words its my word against theres that I didnt want there service after the 30 days even after calls made and emails sent
Ive paid over £200 to Credit Expert for a service I didnt want & didnt agree too
Where do I stand ???
Regards
Al
