I think they tend to add more to the savvy sunday offers when it properly launches.
Celtic sheepskin look nice but still quite expensive, about the price of Uggs if you find them on offer. Personally I find my bearpaws more comfy than my uggs (not the tk maxx ones those aren't as comfy)!0 -
still darned expensive though even with £50 off! I can't understand the obsession with Uggs myself :think:0

I apologise for hijacking this thread but whenever I see people going into a frenzie over Ugg offers I wonder if I should mention this company and so today I am.
It's called The Celtic Sheepskin Co & here is a little about their history.

They never get the coverage that Ugg do and I think it's a shame. Whenever we need boots or slippers, this is where we go. The shop isn't too far from me and we've been buying from them for years. Everyone locally buys from this place as they know that they are getting the originals.
Not only are they harder wearing than Uggs but they are also cheaper. I appreciate that there may be a particular type of Ugg boot that some of you are looking for and that Celtic Sheepskin will differ in their designs but for the classic Ugg boot you'll be paying approx £170. At Celtic Sheepskin you'll be paying £130.

Just a thought, if it helps anyone
Gorgeous boots, thank you. can you advise re:sizing please, and do the heels collapse?
Many thanks, Looby.0 -
I think the heels collapse if that's the way you walk,i've had cheap Golddigga boots, then the more expensive Skecher boots and more expensive again,Emu boots and on every pair i walk over on them and they look a right mess after a few weeks0

Re sizing, i would just go for your usual size. The boots will feel snug to begin with (the makers advise that they should feel snug as they will give with wear).
As for the heels collapsing, we've been buying these for years and not known it happen.
Remember, this is the place where Uggs began (as shown in the history link). All the company did, was the license the use of the Ugg name. The boots are exactly the same quality and I can assure you that they do not look a right mess within a few weeks. You can throw these boots in the washing machine if needed and provided you use the correct shampoo, they'll last for years.
Let's put it this way. My brother wears his boots everyday, he works 7 days a week and is on his feet all day. He buys a new pair every two years and that's only because he's too lazy to wash them and they've gone a bit manky looking. The structure of the boot itself remains solid.
These are the only boots he'll buy as he says they're the only thing he finds comfortable enough to work in all day.
If you check out the link below you may feel a bit more confident about buying.

Once again, my apologies to mum of 3 for hijacking her thread. It was just incase there are people out there who want the quality but aren't so concerned about the name on a label.0
