Hi everybody I'm hoping someone can advise me of somewhere reasonable to stay in Manchester as close as possible to The Lowry - we'd need 3 twin rooms and don't really want to spend more than £20 per person. I've found some on lastminute.com but they are either too far away or too expensive or don't have enough rooms :S
Please help!
Thanks!

Hi there. Don't know if this helps, but we stayed in the Campanile hotel in Manchester recently. Don't know Manchester that well, but we walked into the city centre from there -about 15 minutes walk. Cost was about £45 pounds for the room. Do a google search for Campanile hotels. Room was clean etc -fine if you are just looking for a place to sleep.0

Not sure how far it is from the Lowry but the Ibis on Charles street is a good buget hotel. Rooms for £50 a double, nice hotel with bar and food all day. It's near Oxford Road station and about 10mins walk to Piccadilly Gardens0 -
Hi - we just stayed at the Premier Travel Inn in Manchester which is a stones throw away from The Lowry hotel and the MEN arena - fab for getting into town. The rooms were huge and really nice but the price was £58 per room. Def. recommend though.

The Lowry Theatre is at Salford Quays. Nearby there's definately a Holiday Inn Express and a Premier Travel Inn.
If you can't find somewhere around the Quay's at the right price, you can use the Metrolink tram to get to Manchester City Centre or Eccles.
