Tax credit overpayment - will I get a payment?

I received a letter at the start of the month to say I had been over paid tax credits due to some accounting errors and some of there errors so I still don't know how much. This is from the previous year. I am on a small wage this year and get some towards child care and still receive around £700 monthly. Will they just stop this to pay the amount back or reduce it? I'm so worried I'm not going to get anything and be stuck all month.

Lots of people have had these, us included. You will continue to get your usual TCs, but set up a seperate DDR to pay back the overpayment, as they are seperate cases

Having said that, we queried ours and asked for a calculation to prove it, not had it yet. I often wonder if the 'mistakes' originally found, could quite easily have been found by a 'mistake' if you get me

Oh right .. Was yours by much? Mine was due to a mess up with previous self employments and them messing up rebates and tax bills

Also how much is your DD per month if you don't mind me asking?

Oh I've just remembered my letter said if would come out of future payments
