Asda Credit Card-Faster payments

in Credit cards
The Asda credit card administration has been taken over by Santander. I, like many other customers have been informed of new account details to make electronic payments.
Please be aware that payments to this account do not accept "Faster payments". If you leave payment of your account until the last minute you could incur late payment charges.
Another sly move from Santander!

from mid 2012 all banks must offer faster payments :-)If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

As far as I knew (as of June 2011) Santander allowed faster payments between banks to a maximum of £300 much lower than others. However, according to http://www.ukpayments.org.uk/faster_payments_service/value_limits/ they now offer £1000 faster payment transfers.Don't thank me, thank my post :T

I thought that happened back in January 2009. They've certainly taken their time informing their customers.mollyclayton wrote: »The Asda credit card administration has been taken over by SantanderAre you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

This may be true of other Santander accounts and until now I have been able to pay my Asda credit card bill via "faster payments",however, since Asda's request to pay to a new account my bank, Lloyds TSB reported that this account will not accept "faster payments.0
