Balance Transfer Fees Calculator (Barclays)

I have tried the BTF calculator on the site showing the 22months 2.9% and £40 refund and entere 3000 and the calc shows 1.6% - increased it up to 4000 and 4200 with 1.9%fee. THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE REDUCED FEE ON THE BARCLAYS SITE it states 2.9% - am I missing something. Help appreciated . tks in advance :T

i have this exact same deal, it first souns appealing, especially if transferring to a credit card and paying it off. i now have 22 months 0% int free. however the calculations are wrong as i expected to be paying around 330 per month if i took £3000 out. however instead im already owing £57 per month at £2500.. that inc a transfer fee and handling fee... this is very pricey. i actually wanted to get the funds into my current account to pay off a long overdraft. i eventually had to use a cash advance and that is now maxed out.
