Right, bathroom and toilets cleaned, beds made, windows open so rooms can be aired. Kitchen clean, BM on, recycling put out, but still havnt done the kitchen floor - but i have an excuse, LOs normally make a mess eating their dinner, so would have to do it twice, so will do it this afternoon. Im now sat at the computer sorting the 'hot spot', just happened to find MSE along the way, never mind!!!

Okay so it looks like I haven't done much today but I've sorted all the "non-iron" items that were left to dry overnight, demoulded the bathroom, masterbedroom and the hallway  Funny how I didn't notice it until today and I got up close :o Also hoovered the two bedrooms, bathroom and the top half of the stairs. I'll do the bottom half after my coffee as my back is aching  'Tis "That time" and I get all achy for the first day or so (and I'm craving black forest gateux again:o)...plus I am sooooo tired. I think I need to go out for a walk to get the blood pumping and wake me up...but it's too cold :rotfl: Might go out later when I've got all the jobs done.

I've just found myself volunteering to pick up my cousins little girl (who is also DD's best friend....and they are T.R.O.U.B.L.E. when they get together  ) tomorrow from school and walking her up to her nans so that she didn't have to be pulled out of school early  I must be mad! It's a 20+ minute walk to her nans across at least 2 busy roads so I'm going to be thinking of ways of keeping both of them quiet and calm so they don't end up getting run over or me chucking the pair of them over the wall/bridge onto the railway :rotfl: I'm sure they'll both be sensible as I'm going to warn them that if they don't behave then the cousin doesn't come around AT ALL EVER again diablo.gif

Right, best get on since I've just finished my coffee

Thanks pigpen That has really made me feel better today!

I have been really upset for the last hour and a half, after being told that I can't be given a placement because the department is so busy, especially Wednesday. I wouldn't feel so disappointed if the co-ordinator hadn't said yesterday that she was sure it would be okay...And I can't help feeling that if they weren't busy, then there'd be no point me going in as there would be no work to see or do! I even offered to go another day, but still no, so that makes me feel really positive and confident!

On the plus side, no placement gave me time to do the tasks for yesterday and today, and if I can stop crying then I shall write a list and do the weekly shopping.

    See you later!

Not doing too bad today, have sorted study and shredded loads of stuff, rung up the water board as they keep charging for sewage and we are on a private system. Dining room needs a quick going over, will do that now, and have stripped our bed and in washing machine

Not done that much today. Normal vacuuming downstairs, I seem to need to do that most days. I made a stew (just vegetables first, then I take out two portions for my daughter and then add a tin of stewing steak to make it more interesting for me and my husband. ) It's reheating now with dumplings cooking on the top.

I haven't vacuumed the landing because I can't be bothered to drag the vacuum up there just for that, I'll do it when I do the bedrooms. But I have dusted up there ready. And I went through my wardrobe and discovered that, as I thought, I haven't got much. Might need a couple of new things but not for a few weeks yet.

Washing on the line - and for the first time this week it is actually drying :D
