Hi everybody
I just need to know whether I can apply for a MBNA credit if I have one already. I have the MBNA Mastercard which the 0% interest free period is going to run out in a few months. For example can I apply for their Play.com card while holding their mastercard? or would it be a a waste of a credit search. Also which SBT or BT cards are easiest to get that are not too strict and give a good limit.
Thanks in advance

Agreed, you are unable to BT from one MBNA branded card to another. If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

Hi thanks for your reply, I just want it to clear the rest of my loan and to clear a different card. The MBNA card will be cleared before I make an application, should I settle the card as well or leave it open, trying to work out what would be better for my credit report and score.0 -
Well iirc you can only have one mbna direct card, but you can hold other mbnacards issued with Virgin for example. Closing the old one down will help with the wage to debt ratio but will take a month to 6 weeks to show as closed on the credit fileIf you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

Okay I know the date when they update my file so will close current card before then. I understand I can hold other MBNA cards, as you said I currently have the MBNA Mastercard which I applied for on their site and would like to apply for a different card eg. play.com card issued by MBNA as they offer this card on their site or would I need to apply through play.com0 -
I think you would been to apply on play.comIf you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

It seems you're mentioning the play.com as an example only, but then you mention it several times...as though it may be more than an example?
That's the worst 0% duration SBT card I'm aware of. You'll find up to 20 months is available with the right SBT card...
