**photobucket: Laptop Promo Warning**

A lot of us make use of Photobucket in both standard (free) and premium (paid-for) guise so it's depressing to see it allowing advertising that deliberately doesn't kick in until after a user has logged into her / his account.

Thanks entirely to Photobucket -- which really should know a damn sight better -- consumersavingcentre.co.uk is seeking to give the impression that the account holder, as a distinct individual, has been selected to receive a free laptop.

Yeah. Right. A free laptop. To the value of around £750.

As with all such offers, the 'submit' button to press (they want your email address) is very large, but the small print very small. And really, it's not worth reading anyway. Because this UK savings specialist isn't worth bothering with, either:
Domain name:

Registrant:

Trading as:
I-Deal Direct

Registrant type:
Not supplied

Registrant's address:
27 North Wacker Drive

Chicago

United States

Which is at least an improvement on this:
Domain name:
consumersavingcenter.co.uk

Registrant:

Trading as:
I-Deal Direct

Registrant type:

Registrant's address:

Even so. The fact that they've now learned how 'centre' is spelled in the UK is still not a recommendation to go chasing after "your" free laptop. . .
