MP3 Player to record music

I am looking for an MP3 or MP4 player that can record at a reasonable quality. It will be for taking to a choir so that I can turn it on to record our performance and then play it back later.
I would also like it to have a reasonable size screen as well.
Not interested in anything as up market as an IPOD touch, just something at a reasonable price that does the job.

Are you looking for something self-contained with built-in microphones? If so there are some comparisons here:
