Me too! I made spread sheets to help decide on each area too, i.e. cake, flowers etc, listing prices for different options, comments etc so all the information is there for easy comparison. I have a normal list to keep track of the budget too

Not lists... More spreadsheets! N I have mine on my iPad, so it talks to my phone and I have it on me all the time! If I buy something it immediately gets updated!

I too am a list freak. I have a To Do list (my favourite kind ) for the wedding which covers everything, right down to things to do on the morning of the wedding. This is divided into three-month sections, which in turn are split into individual months so I can see how busy each month will be in terms of wedding prep. I think I spend more time fiddling with the list, adding tasks, moving tasks to different months etc, than I do actually doing the tasks... :rotfl:

I also enjoy a good spreadsheet, although H2B is the excel nut.

Our wedding spreadsheet is multisheet and hyperlinked to death with a covering contents page and a summary page to keep a note of the estimate and the actual spend for each area. Each area has a page where you enter every individual spend and where it is from, this then adds up and links to the summary to check against the estimate and to the suppliers page which lists each supplier used with all their contact details. We also have a savings page which keeps a track of that and updates from the spend as well so that we always know how much money is available.

We then have guest list spreadsheets and also to do lists, and we have lists of our lists to keep track of everything.

Oh yes! I also have a very detailed spreadsheet with columns for estimated cost, actual cost, under/over spend, deposits paid, outstanding balance and date balance is due! On the second sheet of the workbook is my list of suppliers and the third sheet is the guest list! Hahaha! I'm such a wedding geek! I love it! We aren't sad - we are ORGANISED! Lol!.....and slightly crazy/obsessed! haha! Go us!
