  • Morning all and Happy Friday :)

Well, today is D-Day (Default day ;)). All of my remaining loans have defaulted this morning. I have had two calls (at work) from two companies, 4 texts and emails off the rest... oh and there are 3 missed calls on my mobile and 2 voicemails!

All my emails have been sent offering payment plans and I am now (rather impatiently) just playing the waiting game. I have managed to raise £92.00 so far from Ebay so decided last night to use paypal to pay off 247 Moneybox as it's only a little debt and it's one less company to deal with. They have been sent their payment this morning :)

I will update you as the emails come in :p

Good luck with this. Having been in a similar situation myself, I can tell you that payday Express will almost certainly be the most difficult company to agree a plan with.

When you get yourself out of this trouble NEVER take a payday loan out again. Good luck.

  • Hi all :)

It's been quite a day so far! Payday UK have been quite insistent on calling my work phone . I have just emailed them to ask them (again) to stop and to contact me only via email, I quoted OFT guidelines this time so hopefully this might stop them - our office phone diverts to my bosses mobile at weekend so he might not be too happy to be getting calls for me all weekend :o

Not heard anything off Wonga, Quickquid or Payday Express yet.

1monthloan were excellent :) Had an email back within half an hour of initial contact with their bank details and written confirmation of acceptance of plan with no additional charges - an excellent example of how it should be done :T

    Hi Sassyloco

I'm also in a similar situation with payday loans.... I think I have 5 ongoing at the moment - am paying the interest on them each month but also need to pay them off.

Do you have an example of the email / letter you have sent proposing payment plans? Especially for Quickquid.... I need to deal with them first before anyone as I've been a bit bad and not contacted them!! Oooops :o

Plus I could really do with not paying any interest on them this month as its going to totally skint me but how do I stop them taking the money?
