Newcastle Wedding Venues

My girlfriend and I are looking at getting married in the summer of 2013 and have a budget of around £5000 which is to be used for everything such as venue, dresses, suits, rings, flowers, cars, etc etc. Does anyone know or have any ideas of venues around the newcastle area that cater for both ceremony and reception that will hold upto 80 guest's for the ceremony and reception and around 120 guest's for the evening. Even if we could split the venue for ceremony and reception for cheaper would be good.

When I was driving into Kingston Park, the Travelodge (think it's a travel lodge) there had get married in 2012 for £2012, you could see if they'd carry it over to 2013.

  • I haven't got advice on venues, but if your budget is tight consider a Friday. My friend figured that close friends and family would take the day off work and then Saturday can be spent in bed if you're partying hard at the wedding. She reckoned it was loads cheaper than either a Saturday or Sunday.
