Suspitious job offer

I have had a call offering me a job from the gardian ( I did apply for it).
I received a call yesterday from a man telling me about the job and what it involves.
All sounded brill, except the company, EXPOGLOBAL, is based in cyprus. I have looked at there website and it looks ok. But i had an email offering me the job but they needed full address, home number and passport number, before he writes and sends my contract.
Is this right?
Thanks
Dee

I'd be suspicious because it was in the Guardian and because of their website......0

What about an interview? It sounds very dodgy to me.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Thanks for the replys. I did ask for an answer to the question not a english lesson!!!!!!0

Ask for them to verify who they are first. Simples!0

To be fair, you didn't. You said 'is this right?' 'This' could refer to either the situation as described, or indeed, the quality of the writing. So Dave was correcting your use of grammar as requested.
And it would be 'replies' not replys. And English should have a capital letter. And it should be 'an' English lesson, not 'a' English lesson.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Perhaps Davetrousers was just trying to help.
If you're applying for jobs sometimes being able to spell correctly is a prerequisite of the job.
So now you know how to spell it correctly. It may be of help in the future.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Go for it OP and then come back next month and complain when you have been bug gered.0 -
It's a job advertised in the Guardian and they don't even need to interview you? Your CV must be amazing!0

Oh, Lord, the virtual grammar/spelling cops!
Just answer the damn question posed than waste web space or, better still, log off.
It's like Sunday school here sometimes.0 -

It's just a bit of gentle ribbing. It's evident that the job is a complete scam. Why not chill out a bit eh?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
