Hi
Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in London for an 18th Birthday? Looked at Planet Hollywood but they're fully booked, Rainforest Cafe looks good but possibly a bit 'young'?
Needs to be family friendly, lively and reasonably priced and within Oxford St area if possible?
Thanks in advance

Maybe check out the Late Night London places like Grace or the Loop (which is off Oxford St). Reasonably priced, food is pretty good with lots of choice and you might get in for happy hour. Plus they have a club for the party animals.0

Depends what type of food you want really.
If you're not averse to queuing and like Mexican food then Wahaca is fantastic: http://wahaca.co.uk/
Mildred's in Soho does lovely veggie stuff: http://www.mildreds.co.uk/
There's a place just opened up on Maiden Lane called Da Polpo which does Italian-style tapas: http://dapolpo.co.uk/
Cafe des Amis is nice if you want somewhere a bit fancier: http://www.cafedesamis.co.uk/
Imli does really good Indian tapas: http://www.imli.co.uk/ or if you want something a bit more typical then maybe Masala Zone: http://www.masalazone.com/
For Thai food go to http://www.thaipot.biz/index2.html or http://busaba.com/
And finally, for Chinese food, I can really recommend Ping Pong: http://www.pingpongdimsum.com/"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
