My 13yo already has the Nikon Coolpix P100 and she loves it. No need to buy AAs or rechargeables either, it has USB charging. As stated above, I already went for the Nikon Coolpix L120. The P100 actually has better zoom capability, x26. Nikon build quality very good but can't comment on any other brands.0

I'm struggling to buy the missus one too was considering the s2950 fujifilm, but having used our neighbours the shutter picture taking is so slow, like blink and you've missed it.

is it fast, ie if your taking a picture does it take what feels like seconds to click and shoot, or is it fast
was considering the fujifilm s4000 as well at £160 on amazon
now thinking should i spend more panasonic lumix dmc-fz45 for £250 mark
been using snapsort.com but it seems likeit always favours the one i think is worse in the compare section0
