Don't like Media Player

Are there any other (preferably free) programs out there that will do anything that Mediaplayer will?

iTunes and Quicktime. I only use Windows Media Play only if I have too. The rest of the time 99% is iTunes and Quicktime (am a Windows XP and Vista user)

wouldn't touch realplayer or itunes - have a look at vlc as already mentioned or media player classic - this can be installed with real alternnative and or quicktime alternative to play realplayer and quicktime stuff.

2nd VLC player as the best media player there is . so simple , great picture and you can play any region of DVD on it.

There is another free Media Player called "Media Player Classic" or MPC - it looks like Version 6.4 of Windows Media Player but without all the nasty bits!!
