Error in script message - please help

When I try to print a form or page from the internet I get an error message "An error has occurred in the script on this page" and I have no idea why.
Please can someone advise me what to do.
I am having to screen grab and print from there which is a poor substitute.
I'm on Vista and ( I think) IE9.
