0% Balance transfers......still september ??

Hi
I did a super balance transfer on my virgin card quite a few months back, but lookin at the card offers they all still seem to be advertising 0% till sept 2005 from now !! why is this ?? i would have thought it would be a rolling month by month thing, i .e 9 months from the time you takeout the card ? or am i missreading things ? any ideas?
