Rome Guide

Can anyone suggest a good Travel guide for Rome? The OH and i are off to rome in a couple of weeks and would like to buy one to help us make our way round and inform us of the things to see!! x

    I found that this one did the job when I was there for 4 days - has all the main sights and transport etc and small enough to carry round in a handbag or backpocket

    I like the Eyewitness Travel Guides. Lots of info and nice colour pics. Only drawback they are a bit on the heavyish side. RRP usualy areound 14.95 but cheapy bookshops usually have them around a fiver.

    Don't know how good it is but I saw a pocket size guide to Rome in Matalan the other day for £2. I imagine it has all the main things you would need to see. I meant to get it myself as I am off to Rome in May for a week.

    the AA Spiral guide is a must.. went to rome with that and a couple of others and was by far the best... also recommends restaurants at different budgets.. if you need anything on Rome PM me... glad to help
