I've found dishwashing tablets to be one of the most expensive products you buy if your not careful. For example the standard supermarket brand dishwasher powder is a lot cheaper per kg (e.g. £1.50/kg) whereas the finish tablets work out to a hell of lot more (e.g. £8.00/kg)!!!

so instead of 8.79 its 87p!!
I saw one guy buy 20!!

It will probably be finished by midday today the way some customers were buying, not much left as there is limited stock so grab them quick

Hi, First post here. Just went into Sainsbury's and they have Finish 3in1 dishwashing tablets 64 pack usually £9.99 with 90 percent off therefore you only pay 99p. Just checked on Tesco website and they are selling them for £11.49. That really is a bargain!

    Wow that's a good find!!

Sainsburys are currently down marking lots of lines by 90% - but they tend to be different ones in each store. They're not often as useful as this! There's a thread here with other finds. Wish my store would mark down dishwashing tablets by 90%, lol. I read somewhere that it's usually quite possible to break these in half and just use a half for each cycle, thereby saving another 50% on the cost.

    Hi,

Sainsburys, I think, are allowing their store managers to apply 75% and 90% discounts on stock in their store when someone's been overzealous pickin' at the warehouse or when some internal politics (supplier vs buyer for eg.) mean they've stock they'd rather they hadn't - the 90% sale stock I've snapped up isn't merchandise I've seen on the shelves previously.. So it pays to look-out every time you're in the vicinity..

I read on an earlier thread that you should try using a tablespoon of normal washing powder instead of dishwasher tablets or powder. Does the same thing apparently!

you dont mean regular washing powder do you?! my gran did that (by mistake) and screwed up the insides of the dishwasher!
Multi-tasking is a way of ensuring you don't enjoy any of them.
