Hi all

from Wednesday(16th March) onwards to the 29th March , Makro wholesalers are selling Finish dishwasher tablets (boxes of 100 tablets) on a Buy one get one free offer

so you get 200 tablets for £9.99 + vat

according to my reckoning this is cheap compared to most offers in the supermarkets , maybe correct me if Im wrong

What a useful post, just as I've used the last tablet in the box on last night's dinner dishes.

Now ..... to get me over to Wednesday all I've got to do is ask those of the family who are coming to lunch at one o'clock to bring a dishwasher tablet with them. That will make 5 tablets (if I'm lucky) which means I don't need to go to Makro until Friday.

Sorted! Unless of course other posters know of better value elswhere?

Must get back to the potato peeling and batter mixing.

Makro will give you a card if you run a business (any kind) or are (in their words) "a professional person" - make of that what you will

ask around your friends and family , sometimes you will find someone you know has a makro card and you could go with them or give them the money and ask them to get them for you

No membership fee as far as I know, try printing your own letterhead on your computer and take it with you but don't forget Makro prices are plus VAT where applicable.

My local Morrisons is selling the old Safeway Cyclon 3in1 dishwasher tablets lemon fragrance, (box of 50) for £4.99 on a bogof. So 100 for £4.99 is excellent value working out at 5p each.

if you live near waitrose, they're doing their dishwasher tabs on a bogof. the boxes have 44 tablets in them and are priced at £4.09, so you will get 88 for £4.09 and that includes vat!

works out at 4.64 per tablet.

I read on an earlier thread that you should try using a tablespoon of normal washing powder instead of dishwasher tablets or powder. Does the same thing apparently!
