Hi,
My wife and I are escaping the children for 24hrs to visit Dublin next month - valentines day at that!
It is our first trip and we have booked into Brooks Hotel on Drury Street for the one night. We arrive at about midday and leave at 10am on the next.
Has anyone got any tips for our brief stay - I am tempted by a city bus tour (hop and hop type where we like) and then a meal out that night.
How about a tip on an Irish pub with decent food - perhaps with a Valentine theme to make it as romantic as possible (we dont get out much!)
best wishes

We went to beautiful italian restaraunt called Botticelli's in Temple Bar (number 3), right next to the Liffey. Lovely food, great service, gorgeous view.
The telephone no is: 6727289.
How about a trip to the theatre? The guninness factory, the castle - there is so much to do!!
And definitely go on the bus trip - it's great.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

The Dublin tour bus is a great way to see everything in a short space of time. It even takes you right to the Guinness factory which as above is a must!
Enjoy
