in Credit cards
Greetings all,
just a quick random question, I expect the answer is no..
but can you balance transfer a balance from a credit account (ie shop direct for instance; no card) to a credit card? I did have a look via google but I just got lots of BT offers, no info!
Cheers

Not usually.
A few credit cards allow you to transfer funds from your credit card to your current account and still be treated as balance transfers - they are known as money transfers or super balance transfer cards. Any obviously once the money is in your bank you could then use to pay off the shop direct account?
Only a few cards allow this for new customers (post office, MBNA backed cards such as virgin), although some other cards, such as barclaycard, will occasionally offer this style of balance transfer to existing customers.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
