Major Retail Store - Auto Petrol Pump - being charged, but receiving no fuel - help?!

Could it be that you entered your card/PIN for fuel, the pump was faulty and/or needed resetting, and the next user came along after you left and filled with fuel?

The fact that the store is so muppety with their CCTV/FOI request seems to be that they are trying to cover something up.

I hate those auto pumps, nothing but trouble when using natwest debit cards.

Call in trading standards too and report the station under the weights and measures act.

Get the footage...... easy too sort. you said a considerable amount of fuel was requested.....the video will hopefully show that it was physically impossible to get the amount of fuel in the time you were at the pump.(unless you were flaffing around at the pump before seeking help)

The release of the footage should be requested under FOI and another law(i think)

Have you not read the part where the store are refusing to supply the footage even after being sent the £10 under the DPA?

Should you be able to get a copy of the CCTV, I doubt it would include the next customer - I thought the store would only send you the parts including you, to protect the identity of the other person?

So they could well of got free fuel, either just after you or a while after.

which store is it? There's no chance the person behind could have filled up on your card, did the transaction cancel at the terminal?
