I currently work overseas for months at a time but still have my financial affairs in the UK. I need to get a Visa credit card for use online in the UK and to pay things such as rental car deposits etc whilst travelling.
I need to get a card that I can apply for online and not have to fill out and mail paperwork back as I will not be around to sign and return any forms. My UK employer will be able to courier the card to me when it arrives.
My credit rating etc is good and I am on the electoral roll and fully verifiable online, but my own bank Natwest say that even if I applied online I would need to sign and return the paperwork.
Help is much appreciated.

Any particular reason you need a Visa and not MC? The Capital One World Mastercard has an on-line application with the option to 'sign' electronically. I just did this last week. The only things in the post are the PIN, card and an acknowledgement of the direct debit agreement. Good cashback but not the best for overseas use.

I never had to sign for my rbs card when applied onlineDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

applied for the barclay platinum visa credit card about a week ago, just had to tick this box online during application and the card was sent to my home address about 3 days later... didn't have to sign for anything.0
