I have a new laptop running windows 7. I have an email account with ntl (now virgin). My email address is ******.ntlworld.com
On my old laptop i had microsoft outlook which was configured to receive emails from ntlworld account.
On the new laptop i noticed outlook is not installed. After searching on the internet i found it has replaced by Windows Mail. I guess i can use this to access my emails but is there an alternative program which i can access from different computers? I ask because my old laptop died and believe i cannot access my emails stored on micrsoft outlook on that laptop.
Thanks for any advice given.

If you go to the Virgin home page you can log in and view / send your emails online from anywhere without the use of an email programme. Also, the emails that you have lost from your old laptop may still be available there.0

Windows Mail replaced Outlook Express not Outlook. Outlook is available as a seperate program or part of MS Office (most but not all versions). But if you just want to read and send e-mail then Thunderbird is fine and free.0 -
If you want to check your mail in the interim, before you choose and install a new e-mail client;

If you wish to use a web based mail system then Gmail seems useful. It has the largest allowance of file size I know of (25M). Of course the recipients may also need a Gmail account since most servers belonging to other ISP's won't handle anything near that size.It's not my fault your honour, they made me do it.0

Thanks for the replies. After searching i found i can easily access my ntlworld emails by going to virgin website and clicking on email. The downside was it had all my emails going back to 2009 so had to delete majority of it.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way
