Also i saw jamie oliver kids cooking sets they had mini roller apron cookie cuters and a mini bowl for £2.99 they were lovely

I haven't seen these myself, but if they are the sets that Boots had about 15/18 months ago they are lovely, but those sets contained (from memory) a pack of cinnamon and some raisins, which may be out-of-date, so could be removed if they're used as gifts.
  • I love browsing Home Bargains, you never know what you're going to unearth... last week I found the perfect gift for a puzzle-mad friend. She gets through tons of Soduko books, and I found "The Book of Kakuro and How to Solve it" by Gareth Moore. It's a Soduko-type puzzle book - grids of squares and triangles that you fill with numbers by a process of elimination.

I bought it for the princely sum of 19p.... and then was gobsmacked to see it retailing on Amazon for the full £4.99 cover price!

I don't know how HB do it... but I'm very glad they do!

(and in case you thought I hadn't mentioned chocolate this time.... they also had Mcvities Hobnobs Flapjacks, individually wrapped, for 10p each!)
  • Went to the Boston store yesterday and they didn't have much in as they are closing today .... and opening a much bigger store tomorrow near Nettos :j
Did get a couple of fleece horticultural blankets for 99p, which are between £5 and £10 in garden centres. Can't wait to get to the big store, if only it wasn't 20 miles away

Found Ambi Pur full size in car vent clip on fragrance thing for 99p. I think these are much better than the hang from mirror cardboard ones as they last alot longer. Got the last one in Morley but would definitely stock up myself at this price.
