Absolute bargain at Homesave in Coalville.

They are selling the original (ie not the cheap copies) Geomag 46 piece sets for £1.99 as opposed the the RRP of £14.99. This is something most youngsters enjoy doing at one point or another and will make an excellent Christmas present with the added bonus of the fact that the parents of the little one will know how much these things usually cost and will be all the more grateful!

Bought a few as presents and there still seemed to be a few left.

Oh i love geomag! got several sets myself :o (great stress buster).....i really hope they get some in my local shop!

  • What are Geomags pls?

It is a kind of magnetic building block toy - see http://www.geomagsa.com/ct_02.php?IDCategoria=15 for the kind of things kids make with it. Basically magnetic balls and rods together with plastic panels that you can make into all kinds of shapes. Keeps kids happy for hours (or at least several minutes with my autistic son which is incredibly good!)

Word of warning about the Geomag sets, don't buy them if you have any young children in the house who are likely to but things in their mouths. The magnets can fall out, and are hard to notice as they are small. When eaten they join together internally and can cause damage or even death (some children have died in the USA). We used to have a lot, but got rid of them.
